Annika D’Andrea, MBA 

President and Co-CEO

Annika D’Andrea, MBA, LPN, CSNI, CADDCT, CDP 

Annika D’Andrea, MBA, LPN, CSNI, CADDCT, CDP is a healthcare and business executive with more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Annika has a distinguished history of working in hospitals, assisted living facilities and healthcare administrations. For the past 13 years, Annika has led multiple organizations as Chief Executive Officer. A proven healthcare leader, Annika has extensive experience in operations management, strategic leadership, planning, and business development. 

Annika is the founder and CEO of Tender Loving Family, Inc., a home healthcare organization, TLFC Child Care and Learning Centers and TLC Virtual Academy, Inc. In her role as CEO she has led all aspects of the organizations’ strategy, growth, expansion, day-to-day management and development. Additionally, Annika is a Certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainer, providing training and conducting seminars on Alzheimer’s Disease and dementia care throughout the United States for healthcare professionals to become a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP).

Beginning her healthcare career as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Annika worked hard and hone her skills in becoming the transformational, progressive and innovative leader which she is today – always thinking of innovative ways to bring valuable services to consumers. She received her undergraduate degree from Rochester Institute of Technology and completed her Master’s degree in Business Administration from Capella University.

Annika is a Certified Dementia Practitioner, a Certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainer and a Certified Super Noggin® Brain Fitness Instructor. She is also a Professional Certified American Red Cross trainer for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support. She is a member of the New York State Nurses Association (NYSNA), American Senior Fitness Association, the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW), the Greater Rochester Area Partnership for the Elderly (GRAPE) and the National Notary Association (NNA).

Annika is a passionate healthcare and business leader who always wants to help others and is constantly looking for new ways in which she can positively impact someone’s life.

Robert Goldman, JD, PsyD

Robert Goldman, JD, PsyD

Dr. Robert Goldman is a licensed psychologist and attorney with over 18 years of experience in combining law and psychology.  Upon beginning his law practice, Dr. Goldman was appointed to the Law Guardian Panel which inspired him to receive his Doctorate in School & Community Psychology from Hofstra University in order to help children.

Dr. Goldman worked as the Supervising Psychologist for the Suffolk County Probation Department and Suffolk County Mental Hygiene Services where he conducted court evaluations, and provided treatment.  Dr. Goldman has also lectured nationally on topics ranging from Restorative Justice, Educational Law, Forensic Evaluations and the Treatment of Anxiety and Depression among teens and adults. Dr. Goldman is also an author and has been published in the Albany Law Review and the New York Law Journal.

Dr. Goldman is a member of the American Psychological Association, Suffolk County Criminal Bar Association and the Suffolk County Bar Association. He is also the co-chair of the Neuroscience and Law Committee, and an adjunct professor at Hofstra University and St. Joseph’s College teaching Restorative Justice and various Community Correction topics.

In the midst of COVID-19, Dr. Goldman created a virtual lawyers lounge that provided virtual support to help lawyers cope with their own challenges. This first virtual lawyers lounge led to the very beginning of TLC Virtual Resiliency.

Paul Meller, PhD

Paul Meller, PhD

Dr. Paul Meller is a licensed psychologist with over thirty-years of experience. He is a leading voice nationally in the promotion of wellness and psychological well-being. Dr. Meller has worked with children, families, public agencies, Courts, community-based organizations, Head Start Programs, and over 150 school-districts in promoting wellness and building resiliency. He has developed numerous prevention and training programs with the goal of promoting wellness, building resiliency, and decreasing conflict.

Dr. Meller is an associate professor of Psychology, Criminal Justice, and Law at Hofstra University. He is the Director of the Doctoral Training Program in School-Community, Psychology. Dr. Meller also serves as the Director of the Institute for Family Forensic Psychology, and the Director of Mediation at the Hofstra University School of Law – Center for Children, Families, and the Law. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, a Master of Arts in developmental psychology from Columbia University, and a Doctorate in school psychology from Syracuse University. Dr. Meller plays leadership roles and/or has been a founding member of a number of professional organizations.

In his spare time Dr. Meller enjoys working-out, practicing yoga, and playing guitar. He can be seen riding his motorcycle around his hometown twelve months a year.

Stacey Funt, MD, NBC-HWC

Dr. Stacey Funt is a practicing physician, national board certified health and wellness coach, and owner of Lifestyle Health LLC.  She believes that self care is a vital part of healthcare and works extensively with physicians, medical students. and other healthcare providers through workshops, retreats and coaching to support well-being and fulfillment. She utilizes research based lifestyle medicine, positive psychology, stress management techniques, and coaching tools to educate, empower and inspire behavior change.

Dr. Funt received a BA in psychology from Emory University, an MD from New York University Medical Center and completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Her lifestyle medicine and coach training has included the Institute for Lifestyle Medicine at Harvard, the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and the Coaches Training Institute (CTI). Dr. Funt works with healthcare systems and companies locally and nationally and is a clinical instructor at Stony Brook University Medical Center in lifestyle medicine for the department of family, population and preventive medicine.  

In her personal time, Dr. Funt loves to go on adventures with her family, hike with her dog and cook food from her garden. Her favorite quote is “Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” by Mary Oliver.

Christoph Sahar MD is a 4th-generation family physician with an interest in working with the underserved. He is an innovative leader who has worked in multiple not-for-profit, safety net and community health systems in several states. Dr. Sahar is passionate about the wellness of individuals, families, and communities, and believes in the deep-rooted interconnectedness between mental, social, and physical wellness. He holds an Medical Doctorate from Rutgers University, a Bachelors in Computer Science from Brown University, and a Masters in Health Care Management from the Harvard University TH Chan School of Public Health.

Jaclyn is a third year doctoral student in Hofstra University’s School-Community Psy.D. program. As part of her doctoral training, Jaclyn works for the Institute for Family and Forensic Psychology Clinic on Hofstra’s campus working with families and children from a variety of backgrounds. Jaclyn is also an adjunct professor teaching undergraduate psychology at Hofstra. Jaclyn feels forever grateful for this field for introducing her to mindfulness and meditation and the life changing impacts they have on both the body and mind.

Justine is a recent graduate from the State University of New York College at Oswego and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Psychology with minors in both Cognitive Science and Human Development. She is passionate about empowering others with the skills necessary to overcome life’s adversities and guide them on a path towards a more fulfilling, resilient, and purposeful life.
 
Justine believes that there is something new to learn every day and vows to never stop learning. In her spare time, she enjoys practicing painting or relaxing with a good book.

Karen Frost, MSN, FNP-BC

Karen A. Frost RN, MSN, FNP-BC is currently the supervising Director of Nursing and consumer contact with Tender Loving Family Care in Webster, NY. Karen has over 20 years experience in business management, media relations, and marketing in the Home Care Nursing field. Previously her home care role included Director of Clinical Services and Branch Manager with marketing, sales and business management requirements at a local home care agency in Rochester NY.

Karen is currently a NYS Advanced Care Planning Facilitator, certified in Culturally Competent Nursing and NYS certified UAS, PRI and Screen certified among many other various training and skills as a Family Nurse Practitioner. 

Karen obtained her Licensed Practical Nursing degree from Rochester School of Practical Nursing in 1996. She then started her nursing career at a local Nursing Home and a rural primary medical office. Karen obtained her Associates degree in Nursing from Genesee Community College in 2009, where she volunteered at many local outreach programs including migrant worker camp programs. Karen obtained her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2008 at Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, NY, with a focus on adult and elderly outpatient programs and mental health outreach within the community. Recently she obtained her RN, Master of Science degree from D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY and board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner as of February 2020. 
 
Karen has been very active within her nursing career with health care promotion and patient advocacy in the rural areas of Western NY.  Most recently, she has worked tremendously with the underserved community in the inner city areas in Buffalo, NY, educating, treating and promoting health and well being utilizing a Holistic Approach. In the past few years, aside from her onsite clinical training, she has provided oversight and supervision to the clinical department in home care, including occupational health management, case management, quality improvement, supervision of professional and paraprofessional management, and clinical staff. Karen works directly within a team of professionals to collaborate for best practices in patient care.

Dr. David P. Erlanger has over a dozen years of experience working in and with schools. The majority of his time has been spent serving as a teacher, research director, and administrator in high schools. He has also been in administration at the elementary and college levels. Dr. Erlanger uses these experiences in his work at TLC Virtual Resiliency to understand the needs and goals of our educational partners in a frontline and practical way. 

Dr. Erlanger earned his EdD from St. John’s University in Administration and Supervision, Advanced Graduate Certification in Educational Leadership from Stony Brook University, and holds two administrative certifications and two teaching certifications. He has an MA in Liberal Studies from Stony Brook University, and Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Dowling College where he was a National Science Foundation Robert Noyce Scholar. 

He has worked in the development and delivery of innovative teaching pedagogies and instructional technologies. Dr. Erlanger trains, mentors, and consults with colleagues in higher education on how to integrate innovative and free or low-cost technology in their work. He is also a research and data consultant.

Terri Ann Graham

Terri-Ann Graham is the Chief Information Security Officer at TLC Virtual Resiliency and a Holistic Health & Wellness Advocate. Terri’s 10+  years of experience with a wide array of digital and marketing software and tools leave an impact on the mindsets, attitudes, and actions of business functions. Her knowledge of how the digital world operates influences a secure communication process in response to a growing need for virtual services and interactions. 

Terri is currently a lifestyle and digital influencer on various social platforms, promoting holistic health and wellness content. Her passion for health and wellness is also evident in her role as Founder & CEO of TAGsocial Marketing, a social media coaching agency focused on guiding individuals within the health and wellness industry to gain a better understanding of how digital platforms and tools can help their growth. She is also the Human Resource & Marketing Manager for Tender Loving Family Care Inc, which brings a versatile flare to her knowledge base.
