About the Company

TLC Virtual Resiliency (TLC-VR) is a uniquely integrative, evidence-based, virtual resiliency program designed to support human service professionals to survive and thrive in the extreme and accelerating stress of today’s workplace environment, so that they are inspired to continue to do what they do best–help other people.

All aspects of the TLC Virtual Resiliency web program are educational, delivered virtually in cohesive group cohorts, and uniquely customized to meet the ever-changing needs of organizations and individual users.

Services include on-going assessments and tools, weekly interactive video conferencing workshops facilitated by licensed psychologists and mental health professionals, daily conversations and personalized resources in an interactive community forum, a comprehensive resource archive, daily TLC-VR mind-body video content including exercise, yoga, mindfulness, healthy cooking and nutrition, and more. Customer service support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to help ensure we continually provide services that meet companies’ mental wellness and resiliency needs.

The Opportunity

TLC Virtual Resiliency is looking to collaborate with freelance videographers/healthy cooking and/or nutrition experts to create high-quality, engaging, and educational videos on healthy cooking and eating for the TLC-VR user dashboard.

Successful contractors will be responsible for content development, filming, and editing videos for the general adult working population, and provide motivation and enthusiasm for nutrition, cooking, and healthy lifestyle behaviors.  Please note that TLC-VR does not condone dieting or rapid-weight loss techniques, but rather promotes a healthy lifestyle of nutritious eating as part of overall wellness and resiliency.

Videos that highlight specific healthy recipes, step-by-step cooking/guided instruction, cooking tips and tricks, and nutrition education videos are all encouraged.  Related topics such as mindful eating, mindful cooking, reduction of food waste, gardening and cooking, etc. are also encouraged.  Specific types of recipes both in cooking (one-pot meals, microwave recipes, make-ahead meals, 5 minute meals, no-cook cooking, cooking for 1 or 2, etc.) and nutrition (vegetarian, vegan, paleo, gluten-free, sugar-free, keto, low-carb, etc.) are welcomed.

Videos should be engaging, with appropriate lighting and backgrounds, and clear audio.

This is a remote professional opportunity and successful applicants will work closely with TLC-VR’s Chief Program Officer and the rest of the executive management team.  For consistent branding across all content, successful contractors will be provided with a standard intro and outro and other materials to edit into videos, as well as a TLC-VR shirt to wear when appearing on camera.

  • Professional experience and/or education in food and nutrition, dietetics, community or public health nutrition, food studies, culinary arts, or related fields highly encouraged
